Welcome
February 26, 2005;;;
Hoho! Welcome! I see you arrived at Munch! It's a horrible name I know.

Anyway, because you arrived at Munch... it means:
1. You are a geek (okay, maybe not much so)
2. You like to eat
3. You eat when you study
4. You actually study!
5. You like experimenting with foods.

*smiles* Alright, I'm being a nag. -.-... Alright, alright.

We are quite basically, a journal that documents many strange but fun snacks for you to enjoy. These snacks are easy-to-make, creative, fun and most importantly, delicious. The preparation for these snacks are usually very simple but requires enough time for you to get a break from your studying.

I hope you enjoy your time here, you may add Munch! as your friend and if you own a recipe tabulas blog or community, it'll be cool to leave a tag! 1 comments

Pasta with tuna, cheese & milk
February 27, 2005;;; Involves "cooking"
MEOW! I decided to take over the munch log! so everyone should listen to me now. YAY!!!

This is a recipe I liked ever since I was young, when my mum made it for me as a kid. :3 but you will find that I err.. changed the recipe abit.. especially in the quantities of cheese XDD

Ingredients

Pasta (my mum used to make it with spaghetti, but i find that large shells taste the BEST :3, coz the shape of the shells are so cool, and you know, it's kind of like a mini bowl)
Cheese (large amounts.. you can use different types from cheddar, brie, gloucester.. okie.. i tried with alot.. basically any cheese that you like will do)
Tuna in a can :3 (flakes in olive oil will be the best)
Milk (err.. any type)

Process
First you boil the pasta with salt until it is still quite hard. Then drain it and put it back into the pot. Next you dump in the cheese, tuna, milk (until it covers the pasta), and let it boil again (which is why i say to leave it some what hard, as if you cook until its like the perfect texture, it will become too mushy XDD) MEOW! then flavour it with seasoning if you like.

The End!

Chocolatey Heaven
February 26, 2005;;; Too simple to make
Wahaha! Since this is the first entry to Munch!, I won't have something too crazy and mad, just something simple that may satisfy you quite simply.

FEATURE: Chocolate Powder!
For me, I use Milo.

The Very Chocolate-d Bread
Get very simply, white bread, and add a good amount of chocolate powder on it, and I mean at least 3 tablespoons! Fold the bread and start eating!

Man! Don't spoil the taste! No wholemeal bread! This shouldn't let you gain more than 150 calories per piece of bread with chocolate powder. All you need is to enjoy it man! Don't count calories while studying!

Well, some of you may think it's incredibly strange. But the bread is really soft, it's nice biting through the powder as well because of the "invisible space". It's great, and the plain bread coupled with sweet, delicious chocolate powder... ahhh *melts*

The marshmellowed chocolate powder
I'm not the greatest fan of marshmellows, but this does taste pretty good if you love marshmellows. Cut the marshmellow open and add a teaspoon of chocolate powder. Make sure you leave enough space though, or it might spill. Later, if you have melted chocolate or fudge, you can dip it!

Swimming Chocolate Powder
Okay this is pretty lame. Pour yourself a cup of chilled fresh milk. Add 5 tablespoons of chocolate powder. There you have it! Drink the milk with a spoon, my dear. Why is this good you ask? See, there are 3 levels you can enjoy here. Firstly it's the coldness of the milk, then the stickiness, sweetness and WONDERFULNESS of the melted powder, and then the warm, untouched powder. There's a great blend of sweetness and calcium! XD

--------------

Alright that's all for today!
Anyway, there's a pineapple tart recipe from my mom, with pretty crappy instructions, but who cares! 1 comments
